Doctor Magoomagraf is the writer and illustrator of The Zoo in my Belly. She is a native Idahoan living in London with her husband, and is the proud aunt of 2 nephews and 3 nieces.
Doctor Magoomagraf is a designer and illustrator, and she is now finishing a PhD in design in London, England. This book first came to the Doctor a few years ago after hearing a boy with a very noisy stomach. This boy’s stomach was so loud, you could hear it from another room! The Doctor found that a tiny zoo was running amuck, because the zookeeper forgot to feed them that day! To get the zookeepers attention, the animals honked and snorted and stomped and gurgled and moaned and groaned until they were heard.
“We want good food…please!”
And because they asked so nicely, they were fed just the right amount of good food and were happy.
